{"id":206,"date":"2011-06-03T19:33:54","date_gmt":"2011-06-04T00:33:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingworld.com\/OutdoorCookingBLOG\/?p=206"},"modified":"2016-09-19T11:27:43","modified_gmt":"2016-09-19T18:27:43","slug":"jalapeno-tartar-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingworld.com\/?p=206","title":{"rendered":"Jalapeno Tartar Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Oh yes, this recipe makes a most excellent dipping sauce for fresh chilled crab and shrimp.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS:<br \/>\n1\/3 cup mayonnaise<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard<br \/>\n2 pickled jalapeno peppers (whole), minced<br \/>\n2 Tablespoons sweet pickle relish, drained<br \/>\n1\/4 cup finely chopped celery<br \/>\n1\/4 cup thinly sliced scallions<br \/>\n2 Tablespoons fresh chopped parsley<br \/>\n2 teaspoons fresh lime juice<br \/>\nSalt and freshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>DIRECTIONS:<br \/>\nIn a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, pickled jalapeno peppers, pickle relish, celery, scallions, parsley and lime juice.<\/p>\n<p>Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
