Lonnie Gandara

Lonnie Gandara wrote a book in 1990 that was reissued in 1996. The book was called 365 Great Barbecue & Grilling Recipes. I was fortunate enough to receive a copy as a gift attached to a set of grilling tools from a neighbor lady.

It was and still is such a great book, I always start with it, when I am ready to try something new.

You can still purchase it at Amazon.

Tony Chachere

The "Ole Master" of superb Cajun cuisine. Yes Tony Chachere was a real person. And his legacy is the abundance of great pre-mixed "Creole" style seasoning.

Rachel Ray

Rachel may not do a tremendous amount of cooking on the grill. That does not mean she has no recipes for the busy man or woman that can't be altered slightly for tossing on the grate. Since she comes up with such tasty ones, I highly reccomend anything she thinks up.
