NEWS FLASH: Good Eating Meeting Club Goes to Los Feliz and the Theme goes Northward!
In search of Northern Italian flavor, the club arrives at the Villa de Walheim, Los Feliz California
The man himself greets us at the portal a bottle of red raised hi!
Comfort in the Villa is the norm. Only the TV seems out of place. Is that a piece of one of Christo's umbrellas?

Lunch is ready. Mr. J prepares his famous sub. Molinarri salami and all the works.
Another view to feast your eyes upon.

Empty Pots and Pans Everywhere!
Now that is a sandwich.
It would appear that this sub is a bit more serious than your average hero.
Lazlo Gyore can't resist. Notice the neck muscles. I believe the word here is CHOMP!
On to dinner. Sautéing large beef bones will yield the necessary ingredient for Blood Risotto
Careful preparation, once again the key for Chef Walheim.
The center marrow from the bones is removed and readied for the dish.
The first dollop of red wine starts the patient seasoning of the Blood Risotto.
Kevin Burke begins the prep for a marvelous Pecan Pie...

The pinky test, determined it needed a few more minutes in the oven.
Later upon sticking in a thumb pastry Chef Burke decides its ready for after dinner pleasure.
That pie is ready.
And so is the Blood Risotto
We can only wait.

  Night falls at the Villa. The job was done and Northern Italy came home to Los Feliz if only for a day.
